The Trump Taj will undergo a revamp that is major purchase to become the Hard Rock Atlantic City. The minarets need to go. And the faux Mughal architecture, that’s out too.
‘Little Steven’ van Zandt and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie were both current at the rough Rock press conference on where it was announced that the Taj would be changed completely before it reopens as a Hard Rock property wednesday.
That vaulted dome, the one that moved a 40-something donald trump to proclaim he had created the ‘eighth wonder of the world’ … well, just forget about it. It’s coming off. It is therefore 1990.
Instead, there would be refreshing straight lines, a whole load of electric guitars every-where ( as you can not have too lots of those, right?) and neither a dome nor an attractive spire in sight.
This is the $375 million redesign of the Taj, announced by its brand name owner that is new Hard Rock International, at a press seminar Wednesday.
‘There won’t be one… and underscore the word ‘one’… piece of design, architecture, minaret or anything left over through the Taj Mahal,’ Hard Rock CEO Jim Allen said. ‘We are eliminating it all.’
